Team Captains

Centurion Pin At a place like West Point, the team captain holds an even more special distinction as a leader among leaders. There have been 34 team captains in the program's history, starting with Marty Wisda in 1976. Two captains have even returned as the head coach. The captain does more than communicate to the officials during games. He holds real authority in team decisions, operations, discipline, and accountability.
